The Challenge

My challenge with presentations revolves around being assertive, demonstrating that I know the subject matter I’m presenting something about and making sure the audience is engaged throughout the presentation.

Mi desafío con presentaciones se centra alrededor de ser asertivo, demostrando que conozco el tópico en cuestión al que la presentación está vinculada y asegurándome que mi audiencia esté comprometida en todo momento a través de la presentación.

The Solution

The Art of Business English’s Powerful Presentations course appeared right at a time in my career when I needed it the most since, given some role changes more toward management on my end, I was supposed to give more presentations and to bigger audiences than ever before.

El curso de Powerful Presentations de The Art of Business English apareció en el momento justo de mi carrera y cuando más lo necesitaba ya que, debido a algunos cambios en mi rol relacionados a management, el supuesto es que voy a dar más presentaciones y a audiencias más grandes que nunca antes he dado.

The Result

The Powerful Presentations course didn’t fail to deliver and I was able to see immediate results by being able to identify failures in the way I’d present something as practice throughout the course and then later on with real presentations at work, course correcting and delivering a better presentation at the end by asking better questions, answering the audience’s more succinctly and engaging audiences more effectively.

El curso de Powerful Presentations no falló en entregar los resultados que esperaba y fui capaz de ver estos resultados inmediatamente al ser consciente de los errores en la forma en que presentaba algo a través del curso y luego con presentaciones reales en el trabajo, corrigiendo mi curso y entregando mejores presentaciones ya que hice mejores preguntas, respondí a las de la audiencia en una forma más breve y clara y comprometí a las distintas audiencias más efectivamente.
