Cambridge First Certificate language courses for teenagers
Designed specifically for teenagers, who are in ESO or Bachillerato, this is a two year cycle where students are rigorously prepared to take and succeed at the Cambridge First Certificate in English (B2). The cycle is completed with a one month intensive course for students in either July or September in order to fully prepare them for taking the exam.
Students who excel within the Castells Immerscom learning environment are encouraged to take the FCE in only one year. Every year Castells Immerscom presents a large number of students for this exam and we consistently achieve 85-90% pass rates from all students.
The course content focuses on further developing student's English language skills and builds upon the grammar and writing skills learnt in the "Tercer" course. At Castells Immerscom we place a strong focus on developing communicative skills in English and the five skills areas: oral, written expression, grammar, listening and reading comprehension.
Finally, a B2 level is required for all students who wish to graduate from university in Spain and this certificate is a natural step for those wishing to continue towards obtaining an advanced C1 level of English.
